Sustainability
We work with sustainability in many different ways. From smaller, local projects to more extensive, global investments that are in line with the entire Group's sustainability strategy.
Nexans has signed the UN Global Compact. Thus, we are committed to act on the basic principles of human rights, working conditions, environmental protection and anti-corruption.
We have also decided to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases by being carbon neutral by 2030. We summarize our sustainability work in our 3 P: PEOPLE, PLANET, PROFIT.

Our main asset is our employees.
It is the people within Nexans who create customer relationships, drive business and development and who, through their way of being and acting, show who we are.
We therefore work actively to make employees' everyday lives both safe and developing and at the same time contribute to a better society both in our immediate vicinity as well as globally.
As company, we both want and must take responsibility for our world and our environment. We work on the basis of the environmental requirements set by laws and regulations where we are environmentally certified according to ISO 14001. But Nexans also has its own environmental standard and certification. Our aim is to leave a small environmental footprint and optimize our energy use.
Through our products we can make a difference for more people than just ourselves. We want our cable solutions to use as little of nature's resources as possible and be of long-term benefit to our customers and their businesses. But it's not just about the products. We also believe that our actions play a big part in our sustainable work. The way we work, how we act in business, which partners we choose to work with and what values to cherish.
